Born and raised in Syracuse NY, Eric attended Syracuse Academy of Science Charter School. He began his journey as a recording artist around this time, as he signed his first contract to an artist management company under the name of 2Bee Seen Entertainment. This company taught Eric the main fundamentals of artistry and eventually helped him build a musical catalog filled with original compositions, promotional media, and professional networks.

 

After high school, Eric attended the State University Of New York College at Morrisville, where he graduated with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration. It was during this time when he discovered that he wanted to utilize his knowledge of business to work his way into the music industry, not only as a recording artist, but as a businessman as well. This new mindset is what inspired him to attend the State University of New York College at Oneonta, as a music industry major. This has allowed him to take courses covering Music Industry Communications, Audio Arts Production, Music Merchandising and Management, Music Theory, and Contemporary Issues in the Music Industry.

 

Outside of his coursework, Eric works as an A&R director for an independent distribution company called CO//AMG Distribution. His position duties consist of scouting potential talent, participating in artist relations, and assisting in artist marketing. Recently, he has been accepted into The Recording Academy, which allows him to attend professional music-related seminars and/or events hosted by Grammy nominated individuals.

 

After graduation, Eric plans to use everything he has learned and experienced throughout the years and put it towards accomplishing his future goals. He is optimistic about becoming a Record Executive within an already established organization and a start-up CEO of an independently managed Record Label. He seeks to have a positive impact on future generations through the talent he exposes to the industry.
